I'm Luka, a Senior backend engineer, ~11 years across e-commerce (Shopify, order platform), IoT (LoRaWAN network server in Elixir), and HR tech, most recently at Remote (working on developer tooling, CI performance, and a feature-flag system for a large Elixir monolith). Looking for senior backend or platform work, remote in the EU or on-site in Hamburg. Elixir, Rust or Ruby ideally, but I'm comfortable with most tech tacks.
It has degraded? In what way? It sounds like your issues could be caused by LSP servers going rogue. Zed itself has been perfectly stable for me since I started using it as my default editor ~1 year ago. The only thing I didn’t like were some default layout changes that were trivial to revert.
That's honestly pretty rough. Starting a race in a region where it's night time is pointless when you see almost nothing at night. Holding X to summon a vehicle does not seem to work. Can we have less completely broken vibe coded stuff please?

Anyway, I think creating new designs just for fun is a good enough reason for me to create new notes.
Old bank notes are not in circulation forever. They are accounted for by serial numbers. Banks and ATMs can process the serials and designs and report them. Eventually bank notes get pulled out of circulation. So an old bank note is by default suspicious and gets checked more thoroughly. Counterfeiters mostly benefit by blending in with the masses, so having some old note can raise suspicion.

I don't think this was ever a thing. I know there's HTTP 402 and before 2000 there were some standards around payment being pursued but AFAIK nothing ever made it into browsers. Or am I missing something?
I just tried out tangled for the first time and unfortunately it seems buggy beyond being actually usable. I created a repo but can't look at it because I get a 404 for it. The login was quite painful as well as I needed several attempts to enter my atproto handle (copy-pasted every time, so no typo).
But I'm glad more people are working on git hosting options.

I remember back in early GitHub days this used to happen too, as the repository was asynchronously created but the redirect was immediate, then after a few seconds you refreshed the page and it was there. At one point they added the interstitial that I think is still there, that basically does the "waiting then redirect" for you.
Oh yes, seems like that's it. I can now view the repo. A bit annoying when creating a repo redirects you to a URL that will give you a 404 initially (and at least for minute or so, that's how long I tried).
It gets even wilder when you click on "Join the Linux Beta Group". That leads you to https://www.feishu.cn/download eventually. I have no clue what feishu.cn is and I don't see a language toggle. Sometimes it just seems like chinese companies simply don't want international business.
If that's reasonable or not really depends on what people they want to offer services to, no? No one* outside of china speaks Ehinese, while plenty of people, like me, outside of USA, UK, NZ, AU, etc. speak English.
*yes, there are for sure some people who speak mandarin, it's just not as widespread as English (or maybe Spanish)

Yes, so many people were claiming that it will be around that price point. That seemed straight up delusional to me. Memory price has roughly quadrupled and 32GB DDR5 basically cost the same as the original cheapest steam deck.
This is delightfully insane! I don't think I would say it doesn't play _entirely_ terrible though ;) It's playing really bad, but it could be worse and it's already super impressive that it can even generate legal moves.
