Everybody should just assume that they are lying about data retention and learning anyway.
They showed zero respect for intellectual property in the past and they will show zero respect now or in the future. A few thousand Euros/dollars in subscription doesn't matter when several trillions are in play (at least in their plans).
Honestly, I have yet to see any evidence of data leak from private sources. I think one of the better example is "simple-bench", which at least used to be a low-key benchmark that I would assume would have been saturated quickly if the labs were secretly scooping up data from API requests. Yet it's been years and it has yet to be saturated.
It's easy to catch a data leak if you have private data. You know what the model is supposed to not know, and you can just ask to see if it does. Yet I have not seen or heard of a single case of this being documented. As far as I can tell the labs do in fact respect the request to opt out of training.
They should stop sending people to jail for operating a website with UGC, a public WiFi hotspot, or for completing the wrong bureaucratic forms. However free the US is, Europe is the opposite extreme. Everything has a bureaucratic process and if you don't do it right you go to jail. I'm stuck there and scared to do anything innovative.
Make the work market, business market and everything 90% less complicated across EU. I would actually dictatorially made all work and company laws obsolete. EU company, flat tax 20%, goodbye. One month no reason firing.
I just thought about how crazy is the car situation, you move somewhere with your car, for couple months and you SHOULD reregister your car, because of law and insurance, costs money, then you go back and again deregister and it costs money again. Millions of things like this. As if there cant be one EU car register and just insurance flow based on where you reside. Even the residence is different by every counry. Some need you to change “permanent” residence and ID and everything it touches. Some you just say i live here now, here is electricity bill, done.
Law harmonization is the stupidest thing. Either make one EU law or do not put nose into it. Every country makes it differently, some even more strict than EU requires for no reason.

thats how you get a hyper capitalist nightmare like south korea. firing with less bureaucracy makes sense but if your company really needs it that is already a legal reason, american style at will employment just takes away stability from workers.
for the tax part i support lower or zero VAT (taxing consumption is always regressive) but we need to replace it with high and progressive taxes on paid out profits, both dividends and buybacks/indirect payouts. at least 60% for the top bracket. also capping total comp to 5x the companys median like in some nordic countries.
It's a good salary if you don't work for booking, amazon or whatever americans of the day. I got lowballed a few days ago with 85 in a startup. On the other hand this wont buy you a house in Amsterdam on one income.
Are they under any obligation to ground the value of their own stock or can a salesman simply claim that the "true" value of that stock is much much more than it currently seems to be?
Wrapper around the function call. Don't give it the token itself but a limited set of fixed functions to create domains (their use case according to the post).
Additionally give it a similar restricted way to "delete" domains while actually hiding them from you. If you are very paranoid throw in rate limits and/or further validation. Hard limits.
Yes this requires more code and consideration but well that's what the tools can be fully trusted with.
If you employ a new tech then there need to be extra safeguards beyond what you may deem necessary in an ideal world.
This is a well know possibility so they should have asked and/or verified token scope.
If it turns out that you can't hard scope it then either use a different provider, a wrapper you control (can't be too difficult if you only want to create and delete domains) or simply do not use llms for this for now.
Maybe the tech isn't there just yet even if it would be really convenient. It's plenty useful in many other situations.
