I was always switching between Google AI and Perplexity for medical or important questions since these two give me links to verify. And I checked them against each other i.e. LLM as a judge, but with links to be sure.

So I built a chrome plugin to talk to both at once and verify each other's messages.


Given the speed at which smaller models are getting more capable, their "land" moat may not be defendable for long.


as long as they have more power than your Mac Mini does to dump into each prompt, they'll have their moat. it's become proof of work.


Not my experience, with a couple of 7900XT that is a 4 year old card by the way, you can run qwen 3.6 at home. Which for most intends and purposes is comparable to sonnet 4.6
