> And I bet you can soon get a ThinkPad with the same intel chip, that should have similar battery life.

Yes you can, speaking from experience. I have the T14 gen 7 with the 75 wh battery, and the 356H CPU, it only uses 4-6w/hour when coding with a lot of browser tabs open, a headless VM running, docker containers and so on, online meetings is about 6-8w/hour, this is under Linux, with default power setting from Opensuse.

It can easily last more than 10 working hours, I limit mine to 80% charge as it's more than enough for when I'm on the go.

Nice. I still rock the Gen 1 or 2 T14.

Works for me, just wish I had a better display. It's possible to upgrade it, just so much conflicting information out there.

> AWS / GCP can invoice with EU reverse charge so I don’t even pay VAT. With Hetzner I have to claim it back at the end of the year.

Hetzner can do the same as long as you have a valid VAT code.

You mean EU-Vat. And if don't have your business registered in Germany.

> OpenAI and Anthropic are both offering coding plans that are possibly severely subsidized

So does Google, in fact I believe their antigravity limits for Opus and Sonnet for the $20 plan has higher limits than CC $20 plan, and there is no weekly cap or I couldn't get it even with heavy usage, and then you have a separate limit for Gemini cli and for other models from antigravity.

Is that so? I haven't personally used Antigravity, I just heard a lot of people complaining as recently as ~1 month ago that they hit the rate limits very quickly by e.g. it accidentally reading in too large files.

I am actually working on a scraping API for serps, currently it only supports Google, may add more search engines if it gets any traction, it isn't ready yet, but hopefully it will be in a couple of days, if you want to give it a go let me know and I can give you a subscription in exchange for some feedback.

Location: Europe/Romania

Remote: Only remote

Willing to relocate: No

Technologies:

- Python, mostly web apps using Django(api, webhooks, handling payments/subscriptios) and data mining.

- C#, I haven't used it in the last 3 years, but I can get up to speed with it pretty fast as I've used it in the past.

- Docker and docker compose for local development and production deployment.

- VueJs/Alpinjs - used it to build a SPA and also as a replacement for jquery for small interactive pages, pretty comfortable with it.

- Linux - using it as my daily drive and of course on my servers, I know my way around the terminal.

From a quick Google search: 1m3 of concrete = 150l water + 250kg cement + 700kg sand + 1200kg aggregates.

Even if you used just cement and water I think you would get more than 12L from 25kg.

True, I meant pre-mixed bag of cement + sand.

>Even if you used just cement and water I think you would get more than 12L from 25kg.

The thing will crack very soon. The density of concrete is around 2.4g/cm3

Nice, in Romania it's about 8 euros for 1 gig, unfortunately 10 isn't available in my city yet.

Edit: Just checked and for 10 G it would be about 10 euros and for 2.5 G - 9 euros, that's a very good upgrade, probably they assume that most users won't take advantage of the full bandwidth.

My ISP is Digi, which if I'm not mistaken is Romanian! Occasionally IP geolocators think I'm in Romania, even though doing a traceroute shows none of my traffic actually goes through Romania. I'm guessing they re-assigned some blocks of IPs over to their Spanish subsidiary and the geolocation databases haven't caught up yet.

I definitely don't have any way to take advantage of 10g, that's for sure. I guess WiFi 6 might be able to make some use of 2.5G. I'd upgrade for 1 euro more if I was you.

There is PocketBase[0], which seems to be very similar, never used it, I'm just aware of it's existence.

You can have the same with Linux/Windows and Android(not sure if iOS also has an app), using KDE Connect

- Go - Beginner level, still trying to learn to use it to the fullest, mostly for web scraping as the speed and resource usage matters when you do 1000s of requests.
